SELECTION of the Shawinigan River
Discoveries along the meanders
In an enchanting setting marked by shallow waters, dense forest and mountains, the meanders of the Shawinigan River have long been occupied by forest workers… and now by canoeists, turtles and… our bees!
Special features
Dominated by flowers of the Brassicaceae family (wild herbaceous plants in the cabbage and broccoli family). Complemented by a diversity of tree pollen, such as linden, maple and willow trees that bloom particularly well in the Shawinigan River Valley.
Tasting notes
Very floral honey, a delicious blend of sweet and herbaceous flavors. To be enjoyed on all occasions, but you can savor all these aromas directly with a spoon.
*The nectar of the flowers foraged can vary from one season to another, thus being reflected in the taste of the honey.
