Nuclei (50% deposit)
5-frame nuclei, includes:
- 2 or 3 brood frames
- Bees on brood frames
- 1 food frame
- 1 empty frame built or partially built
- Laying queen of the year or previous year.
Available approximately early June - date to be confirmed in May 2025.

Training or knowledge required to accept the sale.
PRICE $280 per nucleus. A deposit of $140 (50%) is required when booking each nucleus (non-refundable). The balance is payable on the day of delivery in cash or by transfer. An invoice for the total amount will be sent to you by email within a few days of your reservation.
*Delivery not available. The customer must show up with their equipment to collect the nucs when we tell you. The takeover takes place at the end of the day after 6 p.m. The date of taking possession will be communicated to you in May or early June.
Materials required when taking possession of the nucleus (*see possible options):
- 1 wire mesh hive floor with what is needed to close the entrance
- 1 standard Langstroth super (10 frames) with 5 of your frames OR a 5-frame hive
- 1 roof
- 1 inner cover (optional)
- 1 strap to attach the hive box (" binder ")
- 1 entrance mouth for the flight board (a piece of fabric or a piece of " foam " is suitable).
If your floor is not mesh, we recommend a mosquito net roof to ensure good ventilation for the bees during transport.
We are not responsible for overheating of bees during transport or for the death of the queen (by crushing, for example).

If you do not wish to do the transfer the same evening, it is possible to add one or the other of these options. This speeds up the taking of possession and limits the handling on the same day. The stress on the bees is therefore limited.
1 - Pro-Nuc transport box for $30 (taxes included). The deposit will be adjusted by $15 at the time of booking.
2- Add an assembled, painted super and 5 frames to build so that you only have to bring a floor and a roof upon delivery (no need to transfer the bees the same evening) for a total of $50 (taxes included). The deposit will be adjusted by $25 at the time of booking.
